Summer in Horsham: A Thriving Community and a Great Place to Do Business

Summer 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark season for Horsham Township — and for the businesses and employees who call this community home. The Horsham Township Summer 2025 Newsletter paints a vivid picture of a municipality that is growing, investing in itself, and delivering an exceptional quality of life that makes it one of the most attractive business addresses in the greater Philadelphia region.

At Babylon Business Campus, we are proud to be part of this community and to share what is happening right in our own backyard.

New Businesses Putting Down Roots in Horsham

The Horsham business community continues to grow with a strong class of new arrivals in 2025. The Waterside Horsham Foundation welcomed several new businesses to the township this spring:

O’Connell & Company LLC opened its doors at 204 Gibraltar Road, bringing quality accounting and tax services to Horsham. Their areas of expertise cover audits, reviews, financial statement preparation, and complex tax management — a welcome addition for the many businesses operating in our area.

Family Pet Clinic at 278 Easton Road is a full-service veterinary clinic that has been serving dogs, cats, and their owners for over 25 years. Now conveniently located in Horsham, they bring Fear Free techniques and compassionate care to the community.

Wok N’ Roll at 314 Horsham Road brings authentic Asian cuisine — including Chinese dishes and Japanese sushi — to the Horsham Point Shopping Center, open six days a week with pickup, takeout, and delivery available.

Buona Sera Restaurante at 537 Easton Road is Horsham’s newest Italian restaurant offering authentic BYOB family style dining featuring pasta, seafood, chicken, veal, and a take-out menu. Their daily special offers a four-course meal — a great option for a team lunch or client dinner.

Babylon Road Paving — Good News for Campus Tenants

Here is some news that directly affects everyone at Babylon Business Campus. The township’s 2025 Paving Project includes two segments of Babylon Road:

  • Babylon Road — Sheehy Drive to Route 463
  • Babylon Road — Davis Grove Road to Route 463

These are the primary access routes to Babylon Business Campus. Fresh paving means smoother roads for tenants, visitors, and delivery vehicles throughout the rest of 2025 and beyond. The project is part of a broader township-wide paving initiative covering numerous roads across Horsham.

$25 Million Invested in Horsham Through MIRIA

The Military Installation Remediation and Infrastructure Authority — better known as MIRIA — is now entering its sixth year of operation, and the results speak for themselves. To date, over $25 million has been invested in Horsham Township through the program, supporting road improvements, water systems, and other critical infrastructure.

MIRIA has also set aside $6.7 million over the past five years for its own projects, including the completed intersection upgrade at West Moreland Avenue and Easton Road, which was finished in fall 2024. With eight applications expected for the next funding cycle, the investment in Horsham’s future shows no signs of slowing down.

850 Acres of Open Space — One of Montgomery County’s Best

One of the most compelling reasons businesses choose Horsham is the quality of life it offers employees. The township boasts approximately 850 acres of open space across more than 50 sites — one of the largest and most diverse park systems in all of Montgomery County.

Looking ahead, the planned development of the former Naval Air Station property will add even more parkland to the township’s inventory, potentially positioning Horsham as the top municipality in Montgomery County for total open space acreage. For businesses recruiting talent, a workplace surrounded by green space, walking trails, and parks is a genuine competitive advantage.

A Summer Full of Community Events

Horsham’s summer 2025 calendar is packed with events that reflect a community that takes pride in bringing people together:

  • Horsham Fireworks Show — Saturday, June 7 at 9:00 PM at Deep Meadow Park, with surrounding events including Beach Bingo on June 6 hosted by the Rotary Club of Horsham and a Plant Swap hosted by the Horsham Environmental Advisory Board
  • National Night Out — August 5 from 6:00–9:00 PM at the Horsham Township Municipal Complex — free food, music, a car show, dunk tank, and more
  • Carpenter Cross — September 20 at Lukens Park, the 7th annual cycling event open to all spectators
  • EcoVENT — October 4 at the Municipal Complex, featuring a free tree giveaway and mobile shredding
  • Horsham Farmers’ Market — Every Sunday, May through October, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 435 Babylon Road at the Horsham Library Complex — just minutes from the campus

The Citizens Police Academy also returns for its 28th session, running September 9 through November 18, 2025 — a great opportunity for business owners and managers to connect with local law enforcement and understand how the community works together to stay safe.
